It’s true, here in Europe there are strange phenomenom visible on radar only more sharp edged pointed figures..

cool vid.. i have a theory, and yes it is very uneducated but here it is. Are you sure that where these blotches pop up arent where the doplar radar(s) are, and when they show up they are doing some type of maintenance or re-calibration to the radar wich causes this effect?? Just a thought.
It called anomalous propagation.
Correct. As the temperature cools near the surface it causes the radar beam to bend down. People should really learn a little science before making fools of themselves, not hard stuff. I work in weather modification and this has nothing to do with what weather modification does.
