This photo blasted all over Google news clearly shows a Flange with the leaking oil and Gas flowing out of  it.  You see a Flange is the point where 2 pieces of pipe are connected with bolts. All one would have to do is unscrew or cut the bolts and replace the top section of pipe with a new one. The fact that these pictures are all over the web and no one from BP the Media or the Obama administration has made any reasonable attempt to draw attention to the simplicity of the repair is beyond any logic. Other then the fact that has been a allowed to happen for some horrific reason.
